Yikes, I hope everything turned out OK for your friend Trish. My dear sweet husband Will was diagnosed with kidney cancer last year; they removed his right kidney and the tumor, and the doctors think it was intact. The survival rate for early-stage kidney cancer is 90%, so we were SO lucky they found it (by accident - they were checking his liver, which turned out to be fine) because it's one of those things where you don't have any symptoms until it's too late for the doctors to save you. Will is fine, but it was SO scary and I still have a minor nervous breakdown everytime he goes in for a follow-up CAT scan.
Thank you so much for sharing this lovely addition to the Hope for a Cure Blog Hop.
this is so pretty! thanks for sharing
Many thanks for your beautiful and touching kit and for being part of such a worthy cause!
So pretty!Love all of your work!
Thank you very much!
Thank you all for the great reminder!! I am a 2 year survivor, and was very lucky that my cancer was found early, as it was very invasive.
I have made a donation to the Knights of Columbus Cancer Vans. They transport patients fron smaller towns to the Cancer Clinics in the cities, so nobody has to go without treatment.
