I'm trying to do my own background etc, it looks just fine from my screen .... how do you see it, please let me know???? The first person who can help me to get my blog right (in everyone's eyes, lol) gets one of my kits (their choice) for free :) and just a little note ... I have a new kit coming out on 1st November :)

Thank you for your imput, I have removed the decorative side bars and changed the paper now ..... how does it look on your screen???

Ok.... now I have made the background paper bigger, does it fit??? It has always fitted my screen which is 19"

So what about this then, I only see the left hand side decoration???? What do you see ????

Great Layouts from my CT

Well I thought I would show off what my CT has been up to over the past couple of weeks.

These first two layouts are done using my kit 'Winter's Warmth' and they are made by Amberpony and Bekah, respectively.

I just love this kit with it's warm tones and deep colours. The flowers and the fireplace all add to the cosyness of this wonderful kit.
This next lovely layout is done using my kit 'Spring Meadows' and it has been created by Jessicasma (Donna). I really like all these little stickers and flowers in this kit, add to that touches of black and the lovely floral papers and it's just the perfect kit for spring time.

Now this next wonderful layout has been done by my CT member 'Berny'. She has used my new kit 'Granduer' for this layout and as you can see it works wonderfully well for a more casual layout. It would also be perfect for Graduations, weddings, dinners and the like.
Now here we have two layouts done using my kit 'Autumn Joy. The first layout has been done by Amberpony again, she has a huge love of nature, animals and the outdoors as you will see from most of her layouts.

The second layout is once again from Berny, how cute are these 'lil pumpkins' on this page, love the way she used the glitter border here and that little cluster of flowers in the corner there.

And now last but by no means least we have two more layouts, the first being created by Bekah using my Winter's Warmth kit, how beautiful does this look. Love the wonderful photo in that lovely frame and the use of the borders along the middle just adds the right touch.

Now we have the lovely Jessicasma (Donna) using my new kit 'Granduer' with maximum impact. How lovely does this look, love all those flowers with the candles tucked in there, just beautiful.

Thank you so much ladies, I really do appreciate your wonderful layouts and all the work you do for me spreading the word.

Just Me

Hi there ... well this is just a post about me, I know, it's usually advertising or freebies but not this time, lol. Today was a very special day for me, my beautiful daughter Cassie finally had her braces removed, after three whole years. Well yes there were tears and laughter and lots of hugs all around, what a beautiful joyous day this was. I'm so pround of her for bravely going through so much over the years that I probably couldn't do myself, 10 extractions (2 surgically) and many many appointments, tears, trapped gums, tormented school days later, it's done!!!

I know there are so many mum's out there who have gone through this and will go through this process of 'beautifying' one's teeth ... is it worth it, well I'll do some layouts and let them speak for themselves.... thanks for reading :) Stay tuned :)

Hi there everyone, well this is a catch up post because over the past few weeks I’ve been given three different Awards by five different people and it’s not that I didn’t want to accept them but just that I’ve been very busy (as I’m sure we all are) and I also wanted to wait until all of the competitions were over before passing them on to some very special people.

First up I received this 'Gold Star Blog Award' from two very lovely ladies, both Nani and Vania awarded this to me, I am to pass it along to 3 different people and let them know they have received it, thank you very much ladies, I would like to nominate

Lizard Dau Designs
KatLen Kreations

Secondly I received this 'I Love Your Blog' Award from both Sooze and Piggyscraps who were both in the SAS Designer Competition with me which I will also be passing along to:

Lori Imel
April Dawn Creations

And lastly but by no means least I received this Award from the lovely Monika. This award is called the "ProximidadeAward" or "Friendship Around TheWorld Award". Originally this award was written in spanish, but it translates to highlight blogs that are pleasing or special in some way, and also to extend the hand of friendship around the world. I am to pass this on to 8 different people, I will try my best as I don't think I know that many, LOL.

Belanna at Odds
Panda Bear Designs
Schappy's Scrap Design
Brenda of Millstream Cottage

Well I think that's about all I can come up with right now. Thank you so much for these lovely Awards ladies, I really do appreciate them all :)

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank KARA JONES, the owner of K-joi for making this experience so very enjoyable. She kept us all going through site breakdowns, sickness, stress and much more and taught us all some wonderful lessons in design, friendship and patience. THANK YOU KARA and K-joi Helpers.
As you know, each one of us had a specific item to produce each week, elements, paper, alpha/wordart and other and each week we were given a colour swatch (not always very nice) and a theme to abide by, we were also ANONYMOUS throughout the competition. These are the four kits that I made which are still available for download from K-JOI.
Week 1 - Other - Heritage/Altered
Week 2 - Elements - Fantasy
Week 3 - Papers - Plain & Simple
Week 4 - Alpha/Wordart - Own Choice, all with a minimum CU.

I would just like to say thank you for all your wonderful comments and well wishes that you sent.
I had a lovely day at the beach with four of my five children and felt sooooooo relaxed after the intense work of the competition, lol.

Here's a couple of snapshots of my kids at the beach.
I've been busy working on new kits, because quite frankly, I didn't think I would win so I have nothing to put into a store, lol, how's that for being prepared, lol.

Now you must excuse me if I'm absent for a few days because I need to do some kits and freebies up for you, once again, THANKYOU :)

Thursday, October 2, 2008

Just in case you're interested I AM NOW A SASSY LADY, yes that's right, I was one of the top three in the SAS Designer Competition, wow, I'm almost speechless.

Thank you so much to all of those that supported and encouraged me throughout these past four weeks of competition, they have really been a learning experience for me and obviously helped me to grow as and become a Designer.

Today I'm taking off..... my children have been on school holidays for two weeks and haven't done anything exciting (except watch me in this competition, lol) so I'm taking them out for the day.

Thank you once again for your support :)

Wednesday, October 1, 2008

Well this is my very last Add-On to my kit 'Bit of Bling' which is my week4 entry in the SAS Designer Competition. It consists of five Borders and one metal Swirl, I hope you like it.

Over the next 24 hours the new Sassy Ladies will be decided, only three will get to become Designers at SAS. If you haven't already voted, please take the time to go over there and place your vote. All you have to do is register at SAS and then you are able to download my full kit and place your VOTE, remember there are also ten other kits in this competition that you can download and vote for, the links are under my banner for your convenience.

This has been a great experience for me, I've learnt many new things and met many lovely ladies along the way. I certainly don't expect to be amongst the top three (but I haven't given up hope, lol) in this competition and I am thrilled that I have done so well with so little experience up my sleeve. I do however, expect to continue on my road to Designerdom.

Thank you everybody for your encouragement and compliments on my work, I really do appreciate it.
